Controller account privacy

What the account service stores
Controller Connect stores your sign-in identity, name, email address and profile image when provided; registered device names and public keys; Mac environment names, addresses and presence; and sign-in sessions. Browser sessions can include IP addresses and browser information for security. Passkey records contain public keys and credential metadata. Passkey private keys stay with your device or credential provider.
Social-provider tokens are encrypted in storage. Account cookies support sign-in; this portal contains no advertising or analytics scripts.
How the data is used
Identity and device records let you sign in, link login methods and authorize connections to your Macs. Session and verification records protect those operations. If you enable notifications, the service processes push tokens and notification content to deliver alerts.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts this portal and its account database. Apple and Google process the sign-in method you choose. Apple delivers push notifications. Your host connection uses OpenTunnel when enabled. These providers process information needed to provide their respective services.
Conversation traffic travels through your connection to the host Mac. The account directory does not store your chat transcripts, repository files or coding-provider credentials. Local conversations and files remain under your control on your Mac.
Your choices and deletion
Open your account to manage sign-in methods and passkeys. Device access can be revoked in either app. Choose Delete Account in app settings or on your account page to permanently remove the account, its login methods, devices, environments and sessions. Deletion requires a recent sign-in and explicit confirmation; every registered device loses account access. Local Mac files and conversations are not removed by deleting the account.
Expired authentication records are cleaned up regularly. Account data stays until you delete your account. Deleted information may remain in backups until their retention period ends.
